Since there are lots more builders of CBG's than players, what about having a builders forum gathering at the festival before the afternoon entertainment agenda begins?

Since I'm currently a far-better CBG builder than a player (I'm working on it . . . it takes time, you know :-), participating in a builders forum/round table meeting would be a high-value/high-priority activity for me . . . Does anyone know if Shane/Ben or anybody from C.B. Gitty is going to be attending this festival and could moderate a builders round-table forum for a couple of hours?

  • Outstanding idea George! I'm planning to attend and am more interested in building and interacting with builders. Will be my first festival, will see how it goes.
    • Hey Doug - Thanks for your reply.  Ditto for me as well; This is also my first festival.  Leaving early tomorrow morning to drive up from Florida to Huntsville (325 miles) and overnight hotel it so I am able to attend the Friday evening festivities and the full day Saturday activities as well.

I hope to see you there.

I'm bringing 4 of my earlier CBG build's with me + 2 (maybe 3) amps just in case there is an impromptu last-minute builders "meet/greet/show/tell" gathering organized on the fly somewhere in the complex over this weekend . . . We'll just play it by ear, and adapt to any additions or changes in this regard as they come our way!

      :-)

      • Great connecting tonight at the festival. Thanks for the lead on gig bags. They are readily available. I got plenty of hits using: fender urban mini strat gig bag. They are only $30 at Amazon.
      • Will be there tonight and tomorrow. My wife and I flew down from Spokane, Washington, so I didn't bring any guitars. Looks like you will be well equipped. It would be great to connect.
