Man I thought this thing was gonna be hard to build but it was way worse.  So many lessons learned, but I love this thing.  Not very loud acoustically but through the amp it sounds great.

It has a 3 piece headstock and a 5 piece neck.  23" scale and the string gauges are .130, .95, .80, and .50 tuned to EADG.  String tension with those gauges seems to be fairly even across the neck.  Also these strings are holding their tune surprisingly well.

  • Looks great I may have to steal that drawer pull tailpiece idea for my next build.

Is it an old fashioned uke bass in regular guitar territory or down in reaal bass territory an octave lower?

I did a ubass not so long ago.

Looking forward to a vid or sound clip.
