Just been eyeing up the water cooler bottles at work. Hmmmm! obviously make good percussion instruments. different notes with different quantities of water, but....... water cooler bottle bass? anyone tried it?

There was a water cooler bottle sitting next to the trash bin at work for the past two days. I finally said the hell with it and grabbed it. No idea what I'll do with it, but one idea I had was to saw it in half and use it as the back of a standup bass (or two). It's the kind that has a handle molded into it... might be possible to make it work as a carry handle for the instrument. One of them anyway...

OK, it obviously has potential. Also been thinking along lines of an upright bass. Now I have to figure out a way of obtaining an empty bottle, as I think the empties are supposed to go back in return for new bottles. However........ I do work nights, so......... watch his space!
