Here's a wild idea: combine various sized CAJONS into a fully functioning drum set. That's exactly what the folks at German-based Schlagwerk Cajons did at this year's NAMM convention. Cigar Box Nation's owner, Ben "C. B. Gitty" Baker filmed this quick demo.
Have you ever created wood drums? Post pics and links in the comments.

Those are nice.
THAT'S GREAT!!! I'VE BEEN PROCRASTINATING PUTTING TOGETHER SOME POTS, PANS, BUCKETS AND WHATEVER ELSE I CAN FIND FOR A PERCUSSION SET, I LIKE THIS!!!
I have a bass drum and 2 toms that need new skins/heads. Thought about putting a Cedar head on them with some piezos through a acoustic amp. The hardware is the hardest part to make without making things look clunky.
And the set in use at last year's Recycled Roots Festival

Sounds good. Like the YAMOOHA logo.
Thanks, the drums are not mine, I am playing the ammo box guitar near the end of the video :)
Shane,
I made a couple wooden tounge drums and a Cajon. They are quite fun to play
Those look nice.
Here is a set made to all fit into one box https://youtu.be/tFG3l94GSe0
