Then I pick up a 4 string cigar box guitar and demonstrate Samantha Fish's awesome cover version. Both are tuned to open G.
First, let's look at the original versions. Here's RL Burnside
And Samantha Fish's blazing 4-string version

Kigar, I happened to find this (R.L. Burnside version) last weekend on Songsterr. Has audio and a scrolling chord chart. I have researched many songs on this free website. Some features are fee-based, but the basic free stuff has always been good enough for me.
Thanks Grandpa! I tried it though and couldn't find this song on their site.
Sorry Kigar. The correct site I was recalling is Chordify. Audio and scrolling chord chart. I don't remember if lyrics are there or not. If no lyrics, I go to google "lyrics for (name of song/artist)". Many places available to look. Hope this is helpful. Songsterr, as you undoubtedly saw, is also full of tabs and musical assistance. I guess a lot of the stuff we like is still a little obscure for the electronic / technical wizards.
Great lesson ! Anyone know where to find lyrics with chords?
