Three guitar strings - bulk (help!)

Hey all,
I'm a shop teacher. My class is building a variation of cigar box guitars. I need to find nylon G-D-G or D-A-D strings in bulk. For the life of me, I can't find a single damn website that sells single nylon strings in bulk. Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it.

I've always had good results with www.juststrings.com

Click on "single strings" on the left hand side of the page, and you can browse by manufacturer for classical/nylon strings. I know D'addario, D'aquisto and Ernie Ball have some... I reckon some of the other manufacturers do, too.

I use fishing line (monofiliment nylon) a LOT, with excellent results (including on my latest build, the "microtonal scrapper strummer). On THAT one, I have added 2 classical guitar bass strings to the two shown on my photos page. Hope that helps.

Try your local music store, maybe they will donate to the school, they usually rent instruments so it may be good for business
