"Blues Box" is build #8, and was finished yesterday.
23" scale, blues scale only (open, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12 per Shane) I can see that I might also need fret 2, but though if someone has a 'must have" suggestion I might add it. Just don't want to load it up so much it might as well be chromatic.
My idea (not original I found) was to make something to practice on, build the muscle memory.
Pretty happy, though I did need to make some hack mods for small errors I made. I had the neck slots wrong, because the lid on this sits on top of all 4 sides, not recessed in on the short sides, so the neck is shimmed up 1/8".
This is the one I asked about the rod piezo mounting. What I did was pit foam tape on the rod, glue on to the neck a couple "retaining walls" for the sides of the rod,that are lower than the top of the rod, and then fit the lid. The pic of the lid gap is the lid sitting on top of the uncompressed piezo. That's how much compression the foam tape creates.
