  • I just bought a 3 string bridge (first timer) for an oil can guitar.
    I'll let you know...
I usually use a scrap of hard wood ( usually maple).
  • I hate strat style bridges.
I have a bunch of these things laying around the house and I should use them but just can't see it. I was thinking of using them separately to sit on top of a dog bowl with the strings going through the bowl just to see how it would sound. I think it would be good but arggghhhh I hate them :)

  • I've used 'em on a few builds...but I dunno, just something about 'em hasn't clicked for me. I was just wondering what others thought about 'em. A lot of the CBG's I've seen built by other people don't use 'em.

  • Agreed they are great. But I like my strings closer together because I don't use a slide. I  have both the three and four string bridges from CB Gitty. They work great. Just wish the three string bridge had the strings a bit closer together.

    • I've only used them once Cause, but I just buy the bridge blocks and screws.[about 8 bucks for 6] then make my own base out of aluminium,to bring the strings closer together

      • Very creative Darryl.
  • Looks really good. I've got the same question as everybody else.....where did ya get it ?
  • I have used CBGitty's with great success... Most of my builds, though, use a banjo style bridge I make out of hardwood scraps...

  • I've used similar bridges with great results. They make it easy when building and the ability to adjust them helps alot. Gitty is selling a similar 3 and 4 string bridge.
