Some time ago I found a nice drawing and instructions on building a strummer stick. I have done many searches and have not been able to find it again. Is there another name for them or does anyone know where there are drawings?

There is a great Stick Dulcimer instruction video on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/user/evanharrison808 This old guy is very easy to understand and has 6 video that will help you to make a stick dulcimer. View them all and you will be making one in no time. I started one myself and it is coming along very nicely. He tends to go verrrrrry slow but just hang in there. He uses a lot of power tools like bandsaws, routers, forsner bits, drill presses, but he does this for a living. You can make your dulcimer with general hand tools (coping saw, files, sander, hand drill ...etc) and a little woodworking knowledge. It may take you a little longer to make one but that's the fun of it. Don't rush it and have fun!!
