Hi All,
I'm building a 4 string hubcap cbg and the string height will be extremely high at the hubcap end due to the shape of the hubcap. I plan this build to be a slide only but have never built with such a high action. Any tips on set up,
Regards
Paul.

Have you searched through pics section for ideas? Maybe a pic would drum up ideas from other members?
Hi, you have a number of options, and I have used them for the same reason.
!- Angle/set the neck back to lower the strings
2- Raise the neck above the box top/face more
3- recess the hubcap into the body/box
Or a combination of the above. eg: angling/setting the neck back may cause the strings to hit the outer rim of the hubcap, so you may have to raise the neck above the face of the body more.
Simple straight line drawings will help determine to best projection of strings to the saddle. With measurements of course.
