string height

This is my 3rd build. Having issues with the string height too high at the bottom of neck by the box. The top of neck the string height is good. What can i do to get the strings lower at the bottom?

Without a complete rebuild? You can lower the bridge / saddle height. This effect can also happen if you don't give the neck some back angle, e.g., angle the neck about 2-3 degrees downward through the box, making sure that the fretboard stands about 1/8-1/4" above the level of the box.

  Thanks Ron for the info. I will have to give a little more thought to the making of the neck. I enjoy making the guitars. Will have to learn how to play them too. Thanks
