Couple months ago, very early in this whole adventure, I bought a $30 acoustic guitar with the intent of converting it to lap.
It arrived damaged, and they just sent me another one free, so I have 2, 1 needing a tuner replacement.
So I saw those Grover nut adapters, and got a couple. Loaded one on the good guitar last night, and I'm impressed. Sounds pretty damn good, even with the rod piezo. The second might get a sound hole single coil and vol/tone.
I think those Grover nuts are a good product.

Stewmac sells uke nuts that come grooved or blank and they are good for CBG's, but I prefer the threaded bolts.
Grover makes great products and I'd say that their tuners are about the best on the market.
You talking bout one of these?
Yep.
