found this speaker 8", it was out of a boombox/sub-woofer, wondering if it would work ok with an amp i plan to build, thing is it's a 2-channel speaker, it has 4-connection's on the speaker, 2 each side, how woud i wire it up, just loop the speaker wire's one to the other side, in parallel ?, any help appreciated, here's some pic's,

Since you have it I say go ahead and use it. Subs have very poor reponse in high freqs, they roll off the highs rapidly and it may sound muddy and not clearly defined when played through. Then again to you it may sound great.
