I need some help from the brain trust. I have a rod piezo with a center lead for a violin and the ends are unterminated. One lead is white the other is unshielded. I want to solder the ends to a simple 1/4" mono jack. With a regular round piezo, I usually line up the positive and negative leads of the piezo disk with the positive and negative posts of the jack. Is there a positive and negative lead on the rod piezo. One lead is white and the other is shielded. How do I solder that to a jack? Does it matter?
Thanks for the help,
Dave

Shield is always negative,so white is positive.
Hey, thanks man. That's how I'll wire it up!
