Hi All,
I am about to start a 6 string resonator.
How do I lay it all out so the scale length is perfect? I guess its even harder with a cone as you can adjust the intonation?
Do I chop and fit the neck with rough dimensions and then measure when in place?
Any help would be great!

Stewmac.com look up fret calculator, it explains a lot.
look at and measure the other gits you have built to get a good idea of bridge offset for intonation. action height and string gauges are the biggest contributor to how big/small that compensation is, so the more alike they are the more alike the bridge offset will be.
Hi, if you check my recent Monkey build thread, second photo, I show it there.
your bridge would be away from the edge, the CBG shown is electric. I leave room for moving the cone back or forward to fine tune final intonation.
