Hi, I woke up to the news of what is going down in the USA at the moment. I feel for you, it's very upsetting to see and hear.

What will be the songs of the future be saying, who will be the songwriters recording the state of the world at the moment, for history? I learnt a lot about world/USA history through the songs of others. More than I got from history books.

Songs like: This land is your land - Woodie Guthrie
We shall overcome - Pete Seeger
Blowing in the wind - Bob Dylan
And many others, songs that unite people, I think.

Then there are the songs that record for history, mining disasters, floods, drought, wars etc.

Can't finish on a sour note.
