rolling off some high tones

I want to roll off some of the highs in one of my CBGs. I have 1 Meg. Vol. pot and no tone pot in the circuit. Can I put a Cap between the positive and negative lead of the piezo. If so, I will try different ones till I get the sound I am wanting.

    RJ, wire your cap (.01-.047UF) into your pickups signal wire ... you can even run one of the caps leads to the + on the output jack , the other lead soldered to the center post on your 1M pot with the one end post empty and the other wired to ground, also on the jack is fine on the - post ...OK?
