Ive got the parts and Im experimenting with finishes...I like the oak with artists prussian blue oil paint rubbed in with a rag...and I did the same on the box with some black paint ...then rubbed back and stained Indian rosewood....Ive metal blackened the brass cover and loved it back with wire wool...Ive brass fret wire coming and a gold mando tail and gold tuners..Ill need to age them too

The rod biscuit I`m making you Rob will drop right on the cone, I use a wood dowel rod on the bottom of the biscuit plate that will go in the center hole of the cone top. This keeps the biscuit centered, plus the rod wire comes out the dowel too. The dowel along with the string pressure keeps the biscuit solid on the cone.
