Hello, I have done a search on here and did not come up with anything. I am looking for a scale or practice exercise that uses the entire fretboard on a 3 string. If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

I'm not sure if anyone has ever come up with a full fretboard scale for major, minor or chromatic exercise. I have a few sadistic exercises that are meant to be moved around and played over the entire neck.
Pick any four frets around your twelfth fret. On your first string hold your first finger down and pic the note. This finger will always be held down on the string as you play the next two notes. Now take your pinky and play the forth fret up. Lift your pinky and play the third fret up with your third finger. Now play the forth fret up with your pinky again. This should be a smooth 1, 2, 3, 4 down up stroke count. Now move this a string down and play again. Move this down to your third string. Then back up to your first. Now move it down a fret and repeat. Keep doing this till your down to your first fret. You WILL feel the burn!
Cool! thanks for the reply. I will check this out when I practice tonight.
