Hey guys,
I was playing around on google books and found out that you can read back issues of popular mechanics from 1917 to 2005 for free. The old issues are REALLY cool. so without further adieu

    I woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn't sleep, so I got on the net and stumbled upon this. I literally spent about 4 hours looking through them. There is some crazy diy stuff in the older ones.

    When I was a young boy my uncle had a book case with nothing but these old popular mechanics books, back then they about 6"X8" in size. I wood spend hours reading them.
