Since my butt is big enough already, I thought it would be fun to work on my playing standing. I can play "regular" guitar fine, but open tuning slide is weirdly difficult. My eyes need to stay glued to the neck, and I made mistakes due to my arms being in a slightly different position. Anyone here a standing slider???

Set yourself up and play in front of a mirror that helps you get use to looking away from neck ,I sling my guit really low lucky I have really long arms in that try changing up the position of the guit it’s all practice as said before .

Yes. And it is weirdly different...different pressure, different hand position, different method. I suck, but less than before. It's like all the rest....practice, practice, practice. Keep going, get better. Maybe even good!
