I'm constructing a cigar box Uke Bass using U Bass strings so I'll need to use a piezo pickup. Does anyone know of a pickup that has a good 'bottom end' response?

Hi David, Piezo's convert the pressure created from the tops vibrations into the sound we hear. If you wish to improve the bass tones I would use a pre amp with EQ. In my experience is if you put the same piezo on a uke it will sound like a louder uke, if you put it on a double bass it will sound like a loud double bass. Taff

Thanks Titch
I use the search term acoustic bass guitar piezo pickup to get the 4 bump under saddle pickup.
Whole set of instructions here https://www.instructables.com/id/Designing-and-Making-a-Bass-Ukulele/
Thanks Taffy - will do it.
