Want to make my CBG electric....have some used pups that I've changed out.....if I use one of the single coil pups do the 3 strings on my CBG have to go over the mags(6 each) or can they be close????

close is good enough .. some people slant the pickup to help align the poles better ..

but the poles radiate out ,, so it really does not matter too much on a cbg.
