Not really building a yellow submarine but I got and on/off spst toggle switch rated 3a at 325 125v and also a mini toggle contact rated 6A at 125 3a at 250. I got em for fun but might return them...what can I do with them. So far the wiring I've ever done is wiring a piezo to a jack ...I like the look of the switches but not sure what to use em for so I posted here. I've made simple cbgs and would like to incorporate these toggle switches somehow. Thanks you.

  • I also really like rebating these switches so only a small portion of it peeks above the guitar surface like this

On a cigar box or similar you might need to glue a block of wood inside to do that in.
    • Suggest anything with the on/off switch and using piezo pickups or is it more for traditional pickups?
      • You can switch elements in/out of the circuit...
For example you could switch between two volume controls or switch a single volume control in or out, or switch one of those ten dollar preamps in or out. Or you could switch between two different pizzos and get two diff sounds maybe one in the bridge and another glued on the neck
        • I like the idea of switching 2 piezos at different locations. I'm a little unclear on a diagram of doing this. Here's what I have and would appreciate any help on a wiring...as well as which toggle switch might be better to try. The mini toggle or the one that's larger. My initial post has ratings for each toggle...here's a picture of each toggle
