Hi all,
On my last discussion regarding cigar box joinery, I uploaded some final pics of the guitar I built with dovetails. It turned out fantastically, but I made one crucial error I suspect is something a lot of you have already dealt with and overcome: I filed the nut slots for the strings a hair too low. As a result, I get a wee bit of buzz on the high strings when played open.
The question: is there any way to correct that problem on the nut I’ve glued on, or do I need to pop it off and start over? Thanks for any thoughts!
