Hello my dears,
I want to make my first Fretboard and have a few questions for you.
I use the following tools: Miterbox, various tamplates and a saw in 0.58 mm from G & W Portugal, see attached pictures.
Now my question.
The first cut, in the Fretboard is the later groove, OK. How do you enlarge this sawn 0.58 mm groove to the final dimension of 6 mm? With me for a brass screw M6. And a variable depth of about 3 mm
Auffeilen is too imprecise, maybe milling? I have a Dremel tool available, is that enough? I can not afford Stewmac tools and unfortunately they are not available.
How do you do this?

Hi, yep what BrianQ says. two saw cuts 6mm apart but not full depth and round file work inbetween.
Taff
Round file?
Nice looking box. Can't you just set the depth of the cut to 3mm and make multiple cuts till you get the width you need (6mm.)
You will have to do a little clean up in the slot.Similar to this technique.
