Chickenbone John has played the last few too and may be there?
Cheers

Thanks for the steer- I've had a quick look at StumbleCol's page here on CBN, and will check out the shows when I've got outside a glass or two of red. Cambridge would've been cool, cos it's barely 50 miles from here...
I think there may be another CBG-ite in Ipswich, but my muso mates operate on varying levels of dismissive (one of them thinks I should be working my builds up to six strings, ffs!). A kindred spirit would be welcome!
If you go to their homepage (click on their icon) there is an option to send a message or friend request (this option is listed on the left column near the top).
Hopefully if you fire off a few friend requests and messages you will find some local people.

In the past Stumblecol has set up the all-dayer Cambridge CBG Festival at the Earl of Beaconsfield in August.
The last one was a couple of years ago though and can't find any info regarding one this year. They were/are a great day out.
Hollowbelly is playing the Dark Star Brewery Hopfest, 29th September in Partridge Green, Sussex.

Hi Wal,
There is an advanced search option for members - type in "United Kingdom" and the nearest town or city or county to see who lives near you.

The 'like' was for the abundance in the US or the scarcity in the UK?
