So what are some new songs you folks are learning at the moment? Me, lately I've been working on some Pogues songs, Irish folk that leans toward rock (or the other way around?). It seems to fall very naturally into the cigar box realm. I've got "If I Should Fall From Grace with God" and "Fairy Tale of New York" down pretty well, and I'm working on "Turkish Song of the Damned." If nothing else, you have to love those titles. Surfing tunes, like by the Ventures, are a lot of fun too. What about you guys?

I just posted a six string version of Elizabeth Cotton's song Freight Train. I plan to teach a lesson using this song to show how to easily move arrangements from 6 string Open G (DGDgbd) to 4 string CBG (Dgbd) and vise versa. Thanks for asking. Enjoy.
Other than blues noodles (name of a band right there - "The Blue Noodles" lol) I've only been working on one song with my new CBG - Pappa Loved Momma. It's a country/rock/blues tune and goes fairly well.
