New Shane Speal cigar box guitars for sale - Vargas Girls, Chuggers, Leadbaby...

Shane  Speal may have slipped away from Cigar Box Nation, but he's still making instruments in his woodshop.  He currently has a slew of cigar box guitars on eBay.




There's a $75 sale on 2-string "Electric Chugger" cigar box guitars.  These feature an updated design with a Florentine stenciled fretboard, internal piezo pickup and an 18" scale.  It could almost fit in a large Christmas stocking.

Other designs include two cbgs with WWII pinup girls and a 3-string cbg made from an antique Red Lion PA cedar wood cigar  box.

*All eBay listings have demo videos to go along with the pictures.

    Interesting lid. How thick is it? Don't often see the fancy bevel profile.

    Bert, here's the new one.  I ended up going with a Ginger as opposed to a MaryAnne on this.  ;-)

    The Vargas Girl sold the other day.  I'm building another one right now!  It'll be done on Wednesday.  It features an antique House of Windsor cedar cigar box, internal piezo and a Vargas.  If you liked the MaryAnne girl in the last guitar, I can probably get the same image again for this one.  If not her, it'll be one just as good.  I always choose the classic 1940's girls with clothes on.  Yes, the clothes are skimpy and hardly there...  ;)

    I would usually start the opening bid on eBay for $160, but if this is what you want for Christmas, tell your wife I'll sell it to her for that price...without an eBay auction.  Have her contact me at shanespeal@yahoo.com for the details.
