Wow, after months of planning, recording, designing and editing, the new album, Empty Wooden Box is about to hit the streets!  The CD is totally different than my usual bare-knuckle blues and rock.  This album is a quiet instrumental release...a celebration in the art of the Cigar Box Guitar.  Nine tracks of varied styles, from Americana and Gospel to Indian ragas and more.  I can't wait for you to hear it!

The album will be released independantly.  In order to finance the release, I have started my own Kickstarter project that will last for 7 days.  Everyone who takes part in it will get a special pre-release download of the CD within 24 hours, enabling you to hear it before anyone else.

$10 Kickstart: Get the download now! - Get a pre-release download immediately of Empty Wooden Box.  This unique link will take you to "The Secret Room" on my website that will allow you to purchase it.  Please note: poster and CD sent early May (when the albums arrive from the factory).

$20 Kickstart: Download, physical CD & signed Concert Poster - You'll get the download (sent within 24 hours), a physical copy of the album and a signed concert poster.

$45 Kickstart: Get a handmade Shane Speal shirt + physical CD and download - I had some fun with this!  I designed the artwork and then created a Banksy style stencil to hand paint each shirt.  Each is personally signed.  You also get the CD and download.  Please note: shirt and CD sent early May (when the albums arrive from the factory).  Very limited number available.

The Grand Poobah Kickstart - $250:  The actual 2-string cigar box guitar Shane used in the song "How Great Thou Art." I received so many great responses for my version of How Great Thou Art when I posted a sneak-peek video last week.  It's definitely the standout track on the album.  One person can get the actual 2-string acoustic cigar box guitar that I used.  The instrument is also pictured on the inner liner notes of the cd.    It will be signed and a personal note written on the back declaring this to be the actual instrument from the album.  EDIT: SOLD OUT
