whilst my 12 string build is on hold as I search for the right parts, I built this 2 beauties from what I had laying around.
1. Just an old Chocolate tin I got from work (the chocs were very nice), an old Nevada neck and a Tele bridge and bridge pickup. Sounds great, tone reminds me of a semi Hollow Fender Telecaster Thinline. Also got a pair of 25mm PIezos under the bridge and they sound great as well.
2. A very literally Biscuit Tin in the shape of a Jammy Dodger (not sure if you guys the US have Jammy Dodgers), a Les Paul Copy neck and a Humbucker from an Epiphone Dot. No Piezos on this one, but the sound is great.
took me 2 days to the Jammy Dodger, got frustrated with aligning and mounting the bridge and nearly smashed the damn thing to bits. Any of you guys ever been that frustrated that you've destroyed or nearly destroyed a build.
Anyway, what you guys think?PS. I know the Humbucker isn't well aligned, but it sounds good and loud when I plug in.

I like them both...….but......you could have given them a hair cut before the photo was taken. You could also call the bottom one a 6 string banjo, and increase your selling power.
Nice work
Taff
Funny you say that, The jammy Dodger was originally going to be a 5 String Banjo, but I couldn't get a neck. Thanks Taff.
