I'm going to be heading to a craft fair and I want to have a nice amp that has reverb on it. Any ideas, like to be under $100.
It would be awesome if it was a cigar box amp to go with my display but if not that would be fine also.
Thanks

Could put a couple of springs inside the box of your CBG.
Don't overlook the Roland Cube 10 GX. This is a very nice 10 watt amp with three built in amp models and the ability to program in around nine more amp models.
It uses a 5.7 VDC 700 mh wall wart and is easily converted to use just about any kind of battery (car, motorcycle, etc) by using a DC to DC Converter that cost less than $5 on eBay.
This amp is a step up from the Micro Cube (a good amp). It has a lot of features and is in the price range you are considering.

I personally own and regularly play CBGs and commercial guitars through a Pignose 7-100, a Fender Mini Tweed, a Roland Stereo Mobile Cube, a Yamaha THC-5, a Fender Champ 600, a Cactus Ampworks Kegblaster beer can amp, and a custom LM386 chip amp in a CAO cigar box, as well as having two of the C.B. Gitty amp kits on the bench. I have also played through the Vox Mini and the Roland Micro Cube. For $100, you simply can't go wrong with either of those last two. I'm a huge fan of Roland amps.
Get a micro cube. These things make CBG's sound awesome, and batteries last a long time. I have a pignose Hog 20, and it doesn't come close to the cube.
I have the line 6 spider. It's a good amp, but if I were to do it again, I'd get the Roland... Not that the Line6 is bad... But every time you turn it on or switch distortion modes you have to wiggle every knob... it's really annoying...
That said, I think it sounds spectacular...
The fair in June 25th, so in 2 weeks. I thought about making one, been looking for the part with reverb. I have plenty of big cigar boxes I could take a existing amp and tear it down and put into a cigar box. It can be plugged in since I will have power at my booth.
I checked the local pawn shop, they had nothing. I live in a small country town of only 2,500 people in NW Oklahoma so not much around here, I have to drive to the city and look at the other pawn shops.
Thanks guys for the suggestions, I'll look at those two.
store bought ? " line 6 spider 2" or up .. or roland micro cube .
cbn member amp ? depends when your fair is .. and time aloted for build and/ or shiping .
