Hi guys. I had no previous music experience and many many failed attempts at instruments so tried a canjo and never looked back. I currently own a canjo (built by Spatchcock and Wurzel) with a stick on pick up and am looking to acquire in one form or another a larger tinned canjo with a piezo pickup. Anyway, I would love some more resources such as tabs if anyone knows where to get them I do have a book but looking for some other stuff as well. Cheers in advance just don't know where to start looking. One day I will get a CBG and learn that too.

I found a old metal 1 gallon gas can on the curbside a couple years ago. I cut the top handle off and a couple 1"x2" holes in top and bottom ends with my Dremel and made a neck through piece. Then I made a neck and added a pickup. It's a 25" scale 4 string canjo that is fantastic. I recommend building one if you can. You can use a old gas can, oil can or can of thinner/stripper. These cans have an awesome tone to them and you can leave the lid off for a soundhole.
There’s a tab group & a few one string/canjo groups that have a little tab. Cigarboxguitar.com archives on the bottom right of the page has links to tabs & canjo’s? Have you tried the Search bar at the very top of the page, yet? Cbgitty also sells tab books for canjo’s? Glenn Watts one finger lessons can be played on one string? Maybe take another chance on a cbg, here’s the easiest way to build one, hope it helps, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmzvfyOizV8&t=35s&app=desktop
