Cigar Box Stomp Box - Self Contained with Amp and Speaker w/9V?

OK...I did some searches, but was unable to come up with anything.

Is there any reason why a cigar box amp kit from C.B. Gitty could not be combined with a piezo and a speaker in the same cigar box to have a 9V-powered fully self-contained stomp box?
