W/ an electric guitar neck.
And how you braced it,if possible.
I did one w/ a mini strat and monte christo box.Box was shallow enough I just bolted it on a 1x3 glued to the box w/ a neck plate.Need to wire it,but its all pre-wired.Needs a fret dress and a couple tweaks but it tunes and plays.
I'll get a pic up in a few, also working on this cohiba gigante w/ a Jackson style neck.I think I'm just going to run 2 piezos under the bridge and keep the top totally clean.
I use strat style hardtail bridges.Like $5 on ebay.Eventually will do one w/ a t-o-m bridge and trapeze tailpiece, got too many going on right now.

Wow that's really nice.Whos cone did you use?
I like the bridge. The whole thing is cool.
Thanks Sawbones. the cone and "f" holes are from Old Lowe, the bridge is a flat top "f" hole one off of evilbay, the neck is an old made in America Peavy acoustic and the tailpiece is of a vintage Kay guitar.
Sweet!I get my cones from Old Lowe too, beautiful things.
My first CBG type(20 yrs ago) I used a Harmony neck and tailpiece,so same kinda parts, but your instrument is super nice, mine are POS's compared to what I see you guys creating.
Great job piecing all that together, thats what its all about, creating something out of basically junk.
The reason I asked is I'd like to do a 6 string reso and was wondering if the cone would support it.
Been played a bit and strung over night, so I'd say the cone will hold up just fine. The only adjustment of any consequence was to make sure the neck extension didn't come in contact with the cone by shimming it some.
Here's my entry!
