I love my CBG's, but I have been taking 6 string lessons for a few months and I'm starting so see the fog lift. I think playing 3 stringers has helped me have a feel for the guitar before I started lessons and lessons will certainly make me better at playing CBG's. I have started the process of taking on my first cover. Metallica - Fade to Black. This is beyond my pay grade, but the challenge and struggles will make me better in the long run. I am not going to share my thousands of failed attempts, but I am going to share the produced track as it unfolds. I am enjoying the producing part as much as the playing. Feel free to offer advice or critique. There are some spots I already want to redo, but not yet.
