If you’re not doing any deep bends , then you really don’t need them. Jumbo frets were invented for players who do lots of bends, so that they don’t wear down as fast as medium frets often do? What’s your scale length? Jumbo frets & short scales don’t play nice? But yea, great for zero frets?
Typically, I think most builders and players prefer medium frets on their gits, often with a Jumbo zero fret. That's how I make 'em. For a bass git, I use Jumbo fretwire with a bone nut. Make and play what ya love.
