I know JuJu no longer makes his pickups. Can anyone tell me what pickup that is on the market that comes the closest in sound tone quality? Any help would be appreciated....Dave

Hi, I am unable to say if these are as good as his, but i will post here
( also just as a note as I have encountered questions about pickups for many years, It will also depend on the guitar you have, if you have a great pickup but the guitar isn't setup correctly it will not sound as well as a well playing cigar box guitar with a cheap pickup....or what I am trying to say is even an 5 dollar pickup can sound fantastic if you have a cigar box guitar with the neck and box that resonates well ) if that makes any sense.
If you take time to set your guitar up right, you guitar will sound well with just about any pickup
Thanks BeetleJuice for your reply. i'll checkout the pickups. I have built two CBG's and did not get a full rich tone out of either. The necks are hardwood and they tune right up but I am guessing the boxes were not right. I know I need to get a wood box. Do you have any suggestions on how to tell a quality box for sound?
Its a hit and miss, pardon, ashton and punch are almost always great.....just look for boxes that are at least 10 inches wide.....the ones that are are solid wood are great too!
but i have seen really bad looking small boxes covered in thick paper sound great too...it really is luck of the draw
