Here's your insane viral videos of the week!  We've got instruments made by 2x4's and pitchforks.

Video #1 features Sacred Steel phenom, Nikki D on a 2x4 lap steel guitar she received as a gift.  Excited to play it, she has her friend fire up the camera to capture its first sounds.

The instrument was created with the new 2x4 Lap Steel Kits just released by C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply.

The 2x4 lap steel was built by Shane Speal and sold at www.SpealGuitars.com.

VIDEO #2 is a wild, psychedelic excursion on a pitchfork guitar!  Terry "Mojo" Johnson returns with another dangerous instrument and plays it with a ball peen hammer!!!

Johnson describes the instrument:

It had a nose piece off an old chevy that holds the electronics, quarters on the volume and tone knobs.

This is tuned to open E. The hammer is optional. I took an old pitchfork, painted it up with flames and call it the Devil's Slide. I used on my solo instrumental Cd, "Terry Mojo Johnson."  Check out more intruments, download or buy our music on our website, www.theswampdrivers.com

  • Not to get technical but that pitch fork is actually a manure fork.  A pitch fork has 3 tines.  Manure fork 5.
