idea, maybe done already?

So i was just thinking on the idea of sandwiching a piezo disc in something. Wood, wood and metal, all metal whatever.

Then what if one took that (and maybe even have two of these) and attach those to the bottom of a boot. And have a wire harness run up the side of boot to a small preamp, like an acoustic/electric would have. And use that as a stomp effect.

thoughts? ideas? already done?

    saw  a  youtube vid where someone attached a    stretchy  band  to  a  sammich  piezo    to  slip  over  his  boot  .

    I think it's a lot more practical in a box or board so you can use pedals etc at the same time, otherwise you're gonna get that thud with every step

    Cos lets be honest, you've got your 'boot blocks' to carry around anyway. I'd like to see someone build it into their guitar case...

    so I know this is done with wood boards, stomp box, luggage etc.... but maybe instead of carrying those things around use the boot instead.
