Hi, a while ago I built a 3 string CBG for a mate of mine for his birthday. He's not musical at all we mainly share an interest in off road motorcycling. After a year of playing his CBG and him being a woodworker he asked me to help him build a CBG. We did this in my workshop and it turned out pretty good.
Some time after that he wanted another and as I knew he was pretty good at woodwork and did great leadlight glass projects , I suggested he combine the two skills and build his own in his workshop.
I designed the basic guitar his job was to do the glass work and the wood work, which he did. However I did fret the fingerboard and set it up for him.
This is what he ended up with, I recon its a unique instrument. It has a piezo under the saddle otherwise you cant hear it very well. I suggested he put a light in it but he was not keen on that idea.

Wow, great craftsmanship. Do you think he is hooked now?
