Another great viewer request featuring an obscure R. L. Burnside song.  I had to create a new tuning in order to play it... and I love it!

First, here's the original song.  You'll notice in my lesson that I tweaked the feel of the song a little bit.  This is sometimes necessary when converting a 6-string guitar riff over to 3-string slide.

R. L. played the original version in the key of C#minor...or somewhere near that.  (He probably didn't use a tuner.)  I have arranged the song for Cminor using a new tuning that is very similar to Open G:  G Eb G.  I call this tuning 'C Minor Implied.'

To get this tuning, simply take your Open G 3-string cigar box guitar and tune the middle string up to Eb.

Here's the lesson.  Enjoy!
