  • I can tell you what not to try: this product from Michaels. It looked promising but it made a huge gummy mess and the decals were useless. It only comes with three sheets too. My next experiment will be Testors printable water decal sheets. Stay tuned.

    • Just to follow up...  I found something called Bare Metal Foil decal sheets. Just put one in the inkjet printer, spray on a couple of clear coats of Krylon and immerse in warm water. About $3 a sheet at the local RC hobby shop. Transformed a junk souvenir uke into... a junk souvenir uke with my logo on it! (Also changed the frets, tuners, nut and added a piezo pickup.)

    • You should squeeze out nearly all of the podge. There'll be no podge left over to be a mess.

  • Very cool
  • Interesting, usually a very good idea to use one's own logo though.

    • yes, the 7ender logo is only an example, I used it because of the small letter size to show how accurate it is. Everybody knows it so everybody can compare.

  • 3) use spatula to glaze Mod Podge

    4) put the paper (printed side down) on the Mod Podge and glaze again

    5) let it dry for a while

    6) lift paper slowly and with caution
