Hi, it would be good to know how you overcome the pickup mounting question. How did it go?

A photo of what you have may help, but without one I would suggest this. Cut a hole in the top that suits the pickup and install it as it is intended. I have a sound hole pickup here and looking at it, it looks like the hole only needs to be big enough got the pickup, if you don’t want a full sound hole. But not all pickups are the same. It also depends on how much room you have under the strings.
