My magnet mounted neck on top ammo box guitar led me to a great discovery. The added width of the magnets meant that the flying bridge didn't reach the box. Originally I had the magnet attached to the neck so the flying bridge could rest on it. Then my little brain had an idea. What if I move the magnet further down the neck and stick my stick on piezo between the flying bridge and the box on the treble side. Presto, it sounds great! Now I wonder if I put another one under the bridge on the other side, would I get a stereo signal that would be worth the extra cost?

If you can try moving the piezo to the other side. If it give you the same sound then go for it.
You could use a blender pot. Get one piezo or the other or a combination of both.
