  • you will have to scrape the binding . ive built a few . fun to do . if you get a nice quilted maple top yu can enhance the grain by staining with black or amber(what i use) then dye a color or skip the dye and finish it up with tru oil will give it almost a water ripple effect .

  • Here's how it's done: stain is applied, then scraped off before lacquer is sprayed on.

  • Depends on the binding material, and on the stain. Should scrape right off with no problem, I did it once a long time ago with a aria pro 335 type thing and rosewood wood stain and it rubbed right off (the binding)with some fine sandpaper
