Probably was trying to do one too many things, but here's a video of my $5 DIY harp-rack mic in action with cigar box guitar and foot-padal cajon!

If you are interested in the details of the harp-rack mic, here's how I made it:

A lot a fun to be had with CBG and amped-up rack harmonica!!

  • Wow! That is a great idea! I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a way to do that and you nailed it! I'm thinking of using a peizo instead of a microphone.

    Thanks!

  • Great DIY, Isaac!  Your not doing too may things in your Demo video, because I noticed that you were not doing anything with your left foot.  I think that your videos would be a lot better if you did something with the left foot and maybe sing while you play the harp.  I'll keep an eye out for your next video.

    • Lol! Thanks! I do have a foot cymbal, so maybe I should stick that on the left foot!! Singin's not my strong suite however...

PS, sorry for the late reply. I moved to a new state shortly after posting this, and everything's been all upside down for the last little while!

  • Another fine DIY excursion into musical innovation. Thanks for sharing.
