So, yea. I tried using actual frets for a fret board for the first time, needless to say I'm gonna have to scrap it. I can't get the frets to keep from rocking in the slots. Any tips? Anybody?

Joe, that usually means the slot or saw kerf is too wide, gitties frets need a kerf thickness of around.023", much bigger and they can fall out, some soft woods will also fail to grip and hold frets well, but as you're saying they are actually moving around, i'd guess your slots are too thick

Depends on how they're rocking. Front to back, slots too wide. End to end, slot is not deep enough.
