Embedding the mp3 player?

Has anybody else tried to embed the mp3 player from their page? I'm building my own website and thought I'd do that - I tried pasting the generated embed code in, but alas, all I get is a blank box.

Is it me?

Thanks Naz, for taking the time to explain. I just don't understand why the player on "My Page" doesn't do all that aforementioned stuff? It does offer an embed code for just such a function.
