DADF# Chords?

Bought a 4-string CBG tuned DADF#.  I am a novice so I have discovered this to be the lower strings of an open D tuning. I have found some chord charts but most seem to use the top two strings. Does this setup not lend itself to easy chords?  Being clueless, I am wondering if there is an open tuning in which I van easily play basic chirdsbinxluding some minors. Otherwise I may just string and tune it DGBE.  Thanks BB

  • Open chords do end themselves to easier chords. That is you can move a slide up and down over all the strings and some form of chord will come out.

    What is 'chirdsbinxluding'?
